Step 26 of 26

Review a page before publishing

The final gate before you publish: the Sage Pre-Publish Governance Reviewer checks a single page against Sage's brand and quality bar β€” and gives a clear verdict. It pairs the Sage Brand Kit with the same preview-fetch MCP, so it reviews the rendered page (head tags, JSON-LD, copy), not just the CMS fields.

1. Run it on a page

Select the Sage Pre-Publish Governance Reviewer agent, add the Sage Brand Kit to Context, and set the page as the Item. Then ask:

Prompt
review the page [your page name]

Note

It needs the preview-fetch MCP attached to read the rendered HTML. If it isn't, the agent says so and won't fake a verdict β€” attach it, then continue.

2. Read the verdict

You get a structured governance report:

  • A verdict β€” BLOCK / REVIEW / PASS β€” with counts of blockers, warnings, and advisories.
  • Findings grouped by brand voice, metadata & schema, content completeness, accessibility, taxonomy / structure, and factual honesty.
  • Each finding gives the severity, the exact location, the evidence, the brand rule, and a concrete fix β€” plus the page's editor URL.

Things it catches:

  • 🚫 Blocker β€” placeholder metadata shipping live (e.g. a meta description that literally reads "Something Wrong").
  • 🚫 Blocker β€” missing page-level JSON-LD (only Organization / WebSite present).
  • ⚠️ Warning β€” generic, repetitive benefit copy or a thin testimonial.
  • ℹ️ Advisory β€” empty alt on functional logo links.

Tip

Make this your last step before Publish: clear the blockers, re-run the review, and aim for PASS.
